How this fan-made Dead by Daylight companion handles your data.

The Entity's Wiki is a free, fan-made companion for Dead by Daylight, available as a website and as an Android application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the website and the app collect, use, and share.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

There is no account, login, or registration. No personal data - including your name, email address, location, or device identifiers - is collected by us, transmitted to us, or stored on any server we control.

We do not run analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services on the website or in the app.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Both the website and the app store the following data locally on your device using your browser's local storage (or the app's local storage):

Saved builds and loadouts you create
Match log entries you record
Prestige and progression tracking data
Settings and preferences, such as theme and navigation layout
Wordle-style game progress

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, synced, or shared with any server. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app deletes it.

Note for website visitors in private/incognito browsing modes or with storage quotas exceeded: saved data may not persist, and the site will show a warning when a save fails.

3. Internet Access

The website requires an internet connection to load. Game data, images, and content are delivered as static files from Cloudflare Pages (and may be served from Cloudflare's CDN). The website also displays community content (for example, tier lists and guides) that references publicly available resources from otzdarva.com; when you view that content, your browser requests images or pages directly from those third-party origins. Cloudflare and those third parties may receive your IP address and standard request headers as with any website visit. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

The Android app does not require an internet connection to function. All game data, images, and content are bundled within the app itself.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; the app is distributed through Google Play, whose own privacy practices apply to the store and its services.

5. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected by us at all, there is no risk of children's data being gathered by us.

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data to share, sell, or disclose to any third parties.

The app and website allow you to generate shareable build codes. These codes are plain text strings that encode loadout information, such as perks, items, add-ons, and offerings. Sharing a build code is entirely at your discretion. Nothing is automatically shared or transmitted anywhere.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
